Handyman prices
in Daventry.
Dan the Handyman quotes small jobs individually. Half-day visits cost £180 for up to four hours of labour; full-day visits cost £320 for up to seven hours. Materials are extra. The work scope, any travel charge and availability are agreed before booking.
When a fixed quote makes sense
For a specific task such as assembling one desk or fitting one curtain pole, start with an individual quote. Provide the product details, measurements, access information and your postcode. There is no requirement to book a half day for a small job.
The quote should make clear which work is included, which materials are needed and whether anything is excluded. A price for one defined task does not automatically cover extra repairs discovered during the visit.
When to choose a half day or full day
A £180 half day provides up to four labour hours. A £320 full day provides up to seven labour hours. These options suit a longer to-do list or a larger assembly or fitting task where the work has been assessed.
Put the most important jobs first and agree a realistic list. The published time allowance does not guarantee a particular number of tasks; complexity, missing parts and unsuitable surfaces can affect progress. Additional work needs a separate agreement.
What needs confirming before you book?
Materials are charged separately. Any travel charge must be discussed in advance for your address within Daventry or the 12-mile coverage area. Explain access, parking, heavy items and whether you need help sourcing parts.
At present the enquiry form prepares an on-screen summary only. It does not send a message, take payment, reserve a date or confirm a booking. Contact and booking arrangements will be added when the business contact setup is connected.
Hourly equivalent versus a fixed job quote
The £180 four-hour package works out at £45 per labour hour if all four hours are used. The £320 seven-hour package works out at about £45.71 per labour hour if all seven hours are used. These are package equivalents, not advertised hourly booking rates. Small jobs are assessed for their own quote, with materials and any travel charge confirmed separately.
Your questions, answered.
What is the minimum handyman charge?
There is no published small-job minimum at present. Ask for an individual quote rather than assuming the £180 half-day price applies.
Does a full day mean eight hours?
No. The advertised full-day package is up to seven hours of labour for £320.
Can I book or pay online now?
Not yet. The form currently prepares a summary only. It does not send an enquiry, accept payment or reserve a date.
